30-6pm CST M-FWithin defined guidelines and framework, advises members on insurance and risk management, utilizing commercial insurance products to fit member's needs.
Uses knowledge of commercial insurance marketplace, carrier appetite, and leverages underwriter relationships and knowledge of carrier contracts to place coverage for member's business.
Job RequirementsTasks:
Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
Follows written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities.
Utilizes a consultative approach to determine customer needs, build rapport and provide solutions based on current products and service offerings.
Builds and maintains relationships between members and insurance carriers, exercising technical knowledge effectively communicating solutions.
Classifies member's business and provide accurate risk management and risk mitigation solutions.
Researches industry trends and evolving regulatory environment (state and national), improving understanding of important technical/financial issues.
Leverages understanding of carrier renewal cycle to best execute account reviews and remarket opportunities providing comparisons to our members.
Follows up with underwriters on endorsements, renewal questions, and remarkets for underwriting determination (approval or declination).
Utilizes understanding of compliance and insurance standards and Agency Management Systems to limit agency E&O exposure.
Minimum
Experience:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma1 year of insurance sales and service experience and/or experience working in a commercial insurance agency or broker setting.
Valid Property and Casualty insurance license for home state and/or ability to obtain home state and multistate license within 90 days.

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.
The salary range for this position is:
$33,280 - $58,500 (this does not include geographic differential it may be applied based on your work location)Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
Geographical Differential:
Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.
Shift premium will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
